So, back in September God laid it on my heart to write out the first 10 years of my life with Nick. I got started, and got through a lot that led up to getting married to Nick. And then everything went crazy busy with life, the kids started school, Mallory our youngest had a surgery, Nick went to Haiti for a week, and I procrastinated and stopped what He had led me to start. Then a month ago, God reminded me of this, so I created a blog. But I didn't post anything. So, I now officially am going to start posting things. Hopefully this will keep me more accountable? My plan is to keep working at writing about all the stories and lessons from what He has taught me, but also to keep going with it and integrate anything He is currently teaching me.

I am going to copy what I already have written and make several posts from those. And then I will continue on from there. I make no promises or timelines! What can I say, I have a husband, four kids, 2 cats (hopefully a dog someday???maybe Nick??) and a home that I love because God gave it to us and it is where we get to grow as a family :) I am beyond blessed!
I hope that what I write will be encouraging to you, in whatever place in life you are at.
Mostly that God can use the stories of His faithfulness in my life to draw others closer to Him. I have come to know that He loves to use our weaknesses to do that. So this may at times be a pretty open vulnerable blog. But it is who He is creating me to be. I think of the switchfoot song, This is Home, and one of the lines in it "but I can't go back, back to how it was." The truth of it is, I would not ever want to. I can live now and be grateful for what He has done.

Alright... let this blogging adventure begin :)
